ELINET-verkosto (European Literacy Policy Network) järjesti heinäkuun lopulla lukutaitosymposiumin Kölnissä, Saksassa. Symposiumiin kokoontui satakunta lukutaitotutkijaa, opettajaa ja kouluttajaa sekä lukutaidon parissa järjestötyötä tekevää asiantuntijaa lähes 20 maasta. Symposiumin teemoina olivat osallisuus, inkluusio ja tasa-arvo.
