In the landscape of approaches toward the simulation of Lattice Models with complex action the Complex Langevin (CL) appears as a straightforward method with a simple, well defined setup. Its applicability, however, is controlled by certain specific conditions which are not always satisfied. We here discuss the procedures to meet these conditions and the estimation of systematic errors and present some actual achievements.

Quantum effects in one-dimensional optical flat-band lattices
Hyrkäs, Markku (2011)I numerically simulated one-dimensional lattice systems describable by the Hubbard-model and containing a flat-band. I studied the manner in which particles initially held in place by a parabolic confinement potential ... -
Conserved energy–momentum tensor for real-time lattice simulations
Boguslavski, K.; Lappi, T.; Peuron, J.; Singh, P. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2024)We derive an expression for the energy–momentum tensor in the discrete lattice formulation of pure glue QCD. The resulting expression satisfies the continuity equation for energy conservation up to numerical errors with a ... -
Pair correlations of logarithms of complex lattice points
Parkkonen, Jouni; Paulin, Frédéric (Springer, 2024)We study the correlations of pairs of complex logarithms of Z-lattice points in C at various scalings, proving the existence of pair correlation functions. We prove that at the linear scaling, the pair correlations exhibit ... -
Designing a graphics processing unit accelerated petaflop capable lattice Boltzmann solver: Read aligned data layouts and asynchronous communication
Robertsén, Fredrik; Westerholm, Jan; Mattila, Keijo (Sage, 2017)The lattice Boltzmann method is a well-established numerical approach for complex fluid flow simulations. Recently, general-purpose graphics processing units (GPUs) have become available as high-performance computing ...
