In 2010, Sampson et al. analyzed articles published on the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the field of career development spanning the years 1990 to 2009. ICT has continued to evolve, affecting clients and career practitioners. We present an updated picture of the scholarly landscape on ICT since that review, including 80 ICT-related articles in 7 journals published in 2010–2022. Published ICT-related articles are on a positive trajectory, although there are clear under-addressed issues, such as career policy and ICT in K12 settings. On the basis of various analyses of the articles, we provide recommendations for career practitioners and researchers.
