Diplomatic and cultural ties between South Korea and Hungary were established more than 25 years ago. In 1988, the Department of Hungarian Studies was created at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Since its creation, this major workshop of Hungarian studies has become one of the most important supporters and symbols of friendly relations between the two countries. In 2014, I became a member of this prominent department, where I teach Hungarian language and culture in the BA programme.
