We study the current of chiral charge density in a Dirac semimetal with two Dirac points in momentum space,
subjected to an externally applied time dependent electric field and in the presence of a magnetic field. Based
on the kinetic equation approach, we find contributions to the chiral charge current that are proportional to the
second power of the electric field and to the first and second powers of the magnetic field, describing the interplay
of the chiral anomaly and the drift motion of electrons moving under the action of electric and magnetic fields.

However, their widespread use is impeded by low yields in ... -
Quantifying the transport properties of quark-gluon plasma through measurement of higher harmonic flow and their non-linear response
Parkkila, Jasper (Jyväskylän yliopisto, 2021)The elusive goal of heavy-ion physics is to understand the transport properties of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP), the form of nuclear matter at extreme temperatures, that prevailed in the first few microseconds after the ... -

(American Physical Society, 2018)Evidence for chiral doublet bands has been observed for the first time in the even-even nucleus 136 Nd . One chiral band was firmly established. Four other candidates for chiral bands were also identified, which can ... -
