Verkkoitseopiskelun materiaalit ja osaamisen arviointi

Abstract

Tämän tutkimuksen on tilannut CRM-service Oy, joka on suomalainen pilvipohjaista liiketoiminta-alustaa tarjoava yritys. Tutkimuksen taustalla oli tilaajan tarve koostaa CRM-service-järjestelmän uusille jälleenmyyjille suunnattu itseopiskelumateriaalipaketti sekä tähän liittyvä sertifiointikoe, joilla tuetaan sekä todennetaan jälleenmyyjien järjestelmän pääkäyttäjätoimintojen oppimista. Tavoitteena tutkimuksessa oli selvittää, minkälaiset oppimateriaalit ja kokeet soveltuisivat tällaiseen tarkoitukseen parhaiten. Tutkimusmenetelminä käytettiin kokeellista tutkimusta sekä koehenkilöiden teemahaastattelua. Tutkimustulosten perusteella mikään tutkimuksessa käytetyistä oppimateriaaleista ei ollut ylivoimainen, mutta toimivimmassa ratkaisussa olisi hyvä yhdistää tekstiä sekä videota tai animaatioita, jotka opiskelija saa itse käynnistettyä ja pysäytettyä. Sen sijaan tulosten mukaan itsenäistä verkko-oppimista on parhainta arvioida näyttökokeella.

This study was commissioned by CRM-service Oy, which is a Finnish cloud-based digital business platform provider. The reason for ordering the study was the company’s need to create a material package for independent learning and a certification test for the resellers of the CRM-service system to support and verify their learning process in mastering the admin features of the system. The aim of the study was to find out, what kind of study materials and tests would be the most suitable for this purpose. The study was carried out by combining experimental design and theme interview. According to the results, none of the study materials used in the study was clearly better than the others, but it seems that it would be best to combine text and either video or animations, which could be started and paused by the student, in the material. The results suggest that the best way to assess independent learning is with a demonstration test.
