Amino pyridine-based rhodamine conjugate (APR) has been developed as a first chemosensor for selective
detection and quantification of L-4-Hydroxyproline (Hyp). The “turn-on” fluorescence property of the chemosensor makes
it unique for easy estimation of Hyp in collagen and biological samples.

High-affinity and selective detection of pyrophosphate in water by a resorcinarene salt receptor
Beyeh, Ngong Kodiah; Díez, Isabel; Taimoory, S. Maryamdokht; Meister, Daniel; Feig, Andrew I.; Trant, John F.; Ras, Robin H. A.; Rissanen, Kari (Royal Society of Chemistry, 2018)Pyrophosphate (PPi) is a byproduct of DNA and RNA synthesis, and abnormal levels are indicative of disease. We report the high-affinity binding of PPi in water by N-alkyl ammonium resorcinarene chloride receptors. Experimental ...
