Generatiivisen tekoälyn käyttöönoton haasteita organisaatiotasolla : TAM-TOE- viitekehysnäkökulma

Abstract

Tämä kandidaatintutkielma tutkii haasteita, joita organisaatiot voivat kohdata ottaessaan käyttöön generatiivista tekoälyä. Tutkielmassa hyödynnetään yhdistettyä TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) ja TOE (Technology-Organization- Environment) -viitekehystä (TAM-TOE). Tutkielma keskittyy generatiivisiin malleihin, kuten ChatGPT:hen ja näiden mahdollisiin haasteisiin organisaatioille. Tutkielma käyttää systemaattista kirjallisuuskatsausta tunnistaakseen, luokitellakseen ja analysoidakseen kirjallisuudesta löytyneitä haasteita. TAM-TOE- viitekehys tarjoaa kattavan perustan ymmärtää sekä teknologian että organisaation näkökulmia, jotka vaikuttavat generatiivisen tekoälyn omaksumiseen. Tutkielma löytää runsaasti erilaisia haasteita, mukaan lukien tekniset haasteet, datan laatuongelmat, eettiset ja lailliset haasteet sekä organisaation valmiuteen liittyvät haasteet. Löydetyt haasteet luokitellaan aineistopohjaisesti ja TAM- TOE-viitekehyksen sisälle. Tutkielman havainnot viittaavat siihen, että vaikka haasteita tunnistetaan ja käsitellään laajasti kirjallisuudessa, organisaation sisäisen ympäristön ja organisaatiolle tulevaan hyötyyn liittyvien haasteiden merkitys jää usein vähemmälle huomiolle. Tämä voi olla ongelmallista, koska organisaatioille mahdollisesti merkittävimpiä haasteita ei ole otettu riittävästi huomioon. Tutkielma ehdottaa, että näitä haasteita tutkittaisiin enemmän organisaation kontekstissa.

This bachelor's thesis explores the challenges that organizations may encounter when adopting generative artificial intelligence. The thesis utilizes a combined TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and TOE (Technology-Organization-Environment) framework (TAM-TOE). The context of the thesis focuses on generative models, such as ChatGPT, and the potential challenges these present to organizations. The thesis employs a systematic literature review to identify, classify, and analyze challenges found in the literature. The TAM-TOE framework provides a comprehensive basis for understanding both technological and organizational perspectives that influence the adoption of generative artificial intelligence. The thesis finds a wide range of challenges, including technical issues, data quality problems, ethical and legal concerns, and organizational readiness. The identified challenges are categorized within the appropriate categories of the TAM-TOE framework. The findings of the thesis suggest that while challenges are widely recognized and addressed in the literature, the significance of the internal organizational environment and benefits to the organization are often overlooked. This can be problematic for organizations if the most significant challenges for them are not sufficiently considered. The thesis suggests that these challenges should be studied more in the context of the organization.
