The data was collected from one workplace during the years 2021-2022, using the methods of digital ethnography. The researcher collected observational data by participating in digital environments of the workplace. In addition, the researcher observed for two days in the workplace. The data consists of field notes (73 pages), interviews (15 interviews, 176 pages of transcribed text) and participant diaries (7). The focus of the study was to examine how digital technology is used for informal workplace learning in knowledge work. Aineisto kerättiin yhdestä työpaikasta vuosien 2021-2022 aikana hyödyntäen digitaalisen etnografian menetelmiä. Tutkija keräsi havainnointiaineistoa osallistumalla työpaikan digitaalisiin ympäristöihin, sekä havainnoi kaksi päivää työpaikalla. Aineisto koostuu kenttämuistiinpanoista (73 sivua), haastatteluista (15 kpl, 176 sivua litteroitua tekstiä) ja tutkittavien päiväkirjoista (7 kpl). Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin, miten digiteknologiaa käytetään informaaliin työssä oppimiseen asiantuntijatyössä.
