We study projective and injective tensor products of Banach L0-modules over a σ-finite measure space. En route, we extend to Banach L0-modules several technical tools of independent interest, such as quotient operators, summable families, and Schauder bases.

On the reflexivity properties of Banach bundles and Banach modules
Lučić, Milica; Pasqualetto, Enrico; Vojnović, Ivana (Birkhäuser, 2024)In this paper, we investigate some reflexivity-type properties of separable measurable Banach bundles over a σ-finite measure space. Our two main results are the following: • The fibers of a bundle are uniformly convex ... -
On Decoupling in Banach Spaces
Cox, Sonja; Geiss, Stefan (Springer, 2021)We consider decoupling inequalities for random variables taking values in a Banach space X. We restrict the class of distributions that appear as conditional distributions while decoupling and show that each adapted process ... -
Unique Continuation Results for Certain Generalized Ray Transforms of Symmetric Tensor Fields
Agrawal, Divyansh; Krishnan, Venkateswaran P.; Sahoo, Suman Kumar (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2022)Let Im denote the Euclidean ray transform acting on compactly supported symmetric m-tensor field distributions f, and I∗m be its formal L2 adjoint. We study a unique continuation result for the operator Nm=I∗mIm. More ... -
Tensorization of quasi-Hilbertian Sobolev spaces
Eriksson-Bique, Sylvester; Rajala, Tapio; Soultanis, Elefterios (EMS Press, 2024)The tensorization problem for Sobolev spaces asks for a characterization of how the Sobolev space on a product metric measure space X Y can be determined from its factors. We show that two natural descriptions of the Sobolev ... -
Universal differentiability sets and maximal directional derivatives in Carnot groups
Le Donne, Enrico; Pinamonti, Andrea; Speight, Gareth (Elsevier Masson, 2019)We show that every Carnot group G of step 2 admits a Hausdorff dimension one ‘universal differentiability set’ N such that every Lipschitz map f : G → R is Pansu differentiable at some point of N. This relies on the fact ...
