Supplementary data for the article "The effect of atmospherically relevant aminium salts on water uptake". Contains a database of cosmo files used in the COSMOtherm calculations presented in the article. The files are divided into TZVP, calculated at the BP/TZVP level of theory and TZVPD-FINE, calculated at the BP/TZVPD level of theory using Turbomole version 7.5.1. Cosmo files of water, alkylamines and alkylaminiums can be found from BIOVIA COSMObase 2021.

Towards automated inclusion of autoxidation chemistry in models : from precursors to atmospheric implications
Pichelstorfer, Lukas; Roldin, Pontus; Rissanen, Matti; Hyttinen, Noora; Garmash, Olga; Xavier, Carlton; Zhou, Putian; Clusius, Petri; Foreback, Benjamin; Golin, Almeida Thomas; Deng, Chenjuan; Baykara, Metin; Kurten, Theo; Boy, Michael (Royal Society of Chemistry, 2024)In the last few decades, atmospheric formation of secondary organic aerosols (SOA) has gained increasing attention due to their impact on air quality and climate. However, methods to predict their abundance are mainly ... -

Predicting hygroscopic growth of organosulfur aerosol particles using COSMOtherm
Li, Zijun; Buchholz, Angela; Hyttinen, Noora (Copernicus, 2024)Organosulfur (OS) compounds are important sulfur species in atmospheric aerosol particles, due to the reduction of global inorganic sulfur emissions. Understanding the physicochemical properties, such as hygroscopicity, ... -
Emissions of atmospherically reactive gases nitrous acid and nitric oxide from Arctic permafrost peatlands
Bhattarai, Hem Raj; Marushchak, Maija E; Ronkainen, Jussi; Lamprecht, Richard E; Siljanen, Henri M P; Martikainen, Pertti J; Biasi, Christina; Maljanen, Marja (IOP Publishing, 2022)Soils are important sources of nitric oxide (NO) and nitrous acid (HONO) in the atmosphere. These nitrogen (N)-containing gases play a crucial role in atmospheric chemistry and climate at different scales because of reactions ...
