Toiminnanohjausjärjestelmien käyttäjien järjestelmän käyttö ja arvon tunnistaminen

Abstract

Tutkielma toiminnanohjausjärjestelmien loppukäyttäjien järjestelmän käytöstä ja eri käyttäjäryhmien välisistä suhteista arvon ja järjestelmän kokonaisuuden ymmärtämiseen löysi vastauksia tutkimuskysymyksiin. Tutkimus toteutettiin määrällisenä kyselytutkimuksena tutkielman yhteistyöyrityksen toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän asiakas yritysten työntekijöille. Kyselytutkimuksen tärkeimpiä tuloksia olivat löydökset siitä, että nykyinen toiminnanohjausjärjestelmä on loppukäyttäjien mielestä mukautettu heidän työtehtäviinsä hyvin, mutta kuten aikaisempi tutkimus toteaa, niin myös tämän tutkimuksen vastaajat tunnistavat mahdollisuuden parempiin toimintoihin. Lisäksi tutkimuksessa löydettiin eroja toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän käyttäjäryhmien väliltä. Käyttäjäryhmillä tarkoitetaan tutkitun toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän valmiita käyttäjärooleja, jotka käyttävät työtehtäviinsä soveltuvia moduuleita. Tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan todeta pääkäyttäjien tunnistavan toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän kokonaisuutta ja arvon määräytymistä muita käyttäjäryhmiä paremmin ja aikaisemmasta tutkimuksesta löytyi vastauksia siihen, kuinka tätä tietoisuutta voisi parantaa paremmalla viestinnällä ja koulutuksessa, jotta kaikki toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän käyttäjät ymmärtäisivät paremmin kokonaisuutta ja sitä kautta järjestelmää käytettäisiin paremmin ja vältyttäisiin arvon vähenemiseltä.

A thesis on the use of the system by the end users of enterprise resource planning systems and the relationships between different user groups to understand the value and the system found answers to the research questions. The research was carried out as a quantitative survey for the employees of the enterprise management system client companies of the cooperative company. The most important results of the survey were the findings that, in the opinion of the end users, the current ERP system is well adapted to their work tasks, but as the previous research states, the respondents of this research also recognize the opportunity for better functions. In addition, the study found differences between the user groups of the enterprise resource planning system. User groups refer to ready-made user roles of the studied enterprise resource planning system, which use modules suitable for their work tasks. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the main users recognize the whole of the enterprise resource planning system and the determination of value better than other user groups, and the previous research found answers to how this awareness could be improved with better communication and training, so that all users of the enterprise resource planning system would better understand the whole and thereby use the system better and avoid a decrease in value.
