We report the measurement of the two-neutrino double-beta () decay of Mo to the ground state of Ru using lithium molybdate () scintillating bolometers. The detectors were developed for the CUPID-Mo program and operated at the EDELWEISS-III low background facility in the Modane underground laboratory (France). From a total exposure of 42.235 kgday, the half-life of Mo is determined to be years. This is the most accurate determination of the half-life of Mo to date.

Measurement of the 2νββ Decay Rate and Spectral Shape of 100Mo from the CUPID-Mo Experiment
CUPID-Mo Collaboration (American Physical Society (APS), 2023)Neutrinoless double beta decay (0νββ) is a yet unobserved nuclear process that would demonstrate Lepton number violation, a clear evidence of beyond standard model physics. The process two neutrino double beta decay (2νββ) ... -
New measurement of double-β decays of 100Mo to excited states of 100Ru with the CUPID-Mo experiment
CUPID-Mo Collaboration (American Physical Society (APS), 2023)The CUPID-Mo experiment, located at the Laboratoire Souterrain de Modane (France), was a demonstrator experiment for CUPID. It consisted of an array of 20Li2100MoO4 (LMO) calorimeters, each equipped with a Ge light detector ... -
Cross-Country Skiing Analysis and Ski Technique Detection by High-Precision Kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System
Takeda, Masaki; Miyamoto, Naoto; Endo, Takaaki; Ohtonen, Olli; Lindinger, Stefan; Linnamo, Vesa; Stöggl, Thomas (MDPI AG, 2019)Cross-country skiing (XCS) embraces a broad variety of techniques applied like a gear system according to external conditions, slope topography, and skier-related factors. The continuous detection of applied skiing techniques ... -
