Terveydenhuollon IT-ratkaisujen nykytila ja tulevaisuus

Abstract

Tutkimuksessa tutkittiin terveydenhuollon uusien It-ratkaisujen tilaa ja tulevaisuutta ja niiden vaikutuksia toimintaan. Tärkeimpinä uusina teknologioina käsiteltiin big dataa, mobiilia ja potilaskeskeisiä tietojärjestelmiä ja Personal Health Recordsia (PHR). Tässä kirjallisuuskatsauksena toteutetussa tutkimuksessa havaittiin näillä kaikilla olevan paljon potentiaalia vähentää terveydenhuollon kustannuksia ja kehittää hoitotapoja. Toisaalta tutkielmassa todettiin myös, että esimerkiksi mobiili, big data ja PHR teknologioihin liittyy monenlaisia haasteita, kuten yksityisyys ja tietoturva.

This literature review introduces the current state and the future of healthcare information systems and how they affect to the healthcare. Most important new technologies in this study was big data, mobile technologies and personal health records (PHR) This study shows that all those new technologies have great potential to reduce cost of the healthcare and develop quality of treatment. Although this study shows that there are also much challenges, for example mobile technologies, big data and PHR have all challenges like privacy and security issues.
