We study the boundary behavior of bounded quasiregular mappings f : Bn(0, 1) → Rn, n ≥ 3. We show that there exists a large family of cusps, with vertices on the boundary sphere S n−1 (0, 1), so that the images of these cusps under f have finite (n − 1)-measure.

Mappings of finite distortion : boundary extensions in uniform domains
Äkkinen, Tuomo; Guo, Changyu (Springer, 2017)In this paper, we consider mappings on uniform domains with exponentially integrable distortion whose Jacobian determinants are integrable. We show that such mappings can be extended to the boundary and moreover these ... -
Work–Family Boundary Management Profiles in Two Finnish Samples : A Person-oriented Approach
Moazami-Goodarzi, Ali; Rantanen, Johanna; Nurmi, Jari-Erik; Mauno, Saija (Sciedu Press, 2015)Background: The present study aims to identify different work-family boundary management profiles among Finnish employees, and examine how these relate to conflict between work and family or their mutual enrichment. Method: ... -

Student behavioral engagement as a mediator between teacher, family, and peer support and school truancy
Virtanen, Tuomo; Lerkkanen, Marja-Kristiina; Poikkeus, Anna-Maija; Kuorelahti, Matti (Pergamon Press, 2014)This study investigated the associations between student's behavioral engagement; teacher, family, and peer emotional support; and school truancy. Student-reported data of 821 Finnish junior high school students were ...
