Syftet för Pro gradu – avhandlingen var att redogöra vad som ingår i Gripsholmsskolans hälsoprofil. Gripsholmsskolan är en rikssvensk skola som valt att uppmärksamma hälsa ur olika synvinklar i skolvardagen. Vidare undersöktes hur hälsoprofilen uppkom och utvecklades. Även lärarnas upplevelser av hälsoprofilen presenteras. Gripsholmsskolan är en friskola som startade sin verksamhet i augusti 2009. Skolan är belägen i Mariefred som ligger ungefär 60 kilometer sydväst om Stockholm. Den här undersökningen kan bidra till nya tankesätt kring utvecklingen till en mer hälsofrämjande skola.
Undersökningen är av kvalitativ karaktär och undersökningsmetoden som använts är semistrukturerade temaintervjuer. Pilotundersökningen utfördes i januari 2017. Intervjuerna utfördes under tidsperioden januari- mars 2017. Sammanlagt deltog fem lärare i undersökningen som jobbat länge på skolan eller jobbar mycket med hälsoprofilen. Utgående från intervjuerna skapades passande huvudkategorier och från huvudkategorierna skapades underkategorier.
Gripsholmsskolan har genom åren utvecklat fysiska, psykiska och sociala övningar för att förbättra hälsan i skolvardagen. Alla respondenter är säkra på att hälsoprofilen har goda effekter för eleverna och påverkar skolan positivt. Enligt respondenterna har hälsoprofilen gjort att eleverna är relativt stabila, får en inblick i vad som är sunt och osunt, får utlopp för sin energi, eleverna blir mentalt starka och är mera koncentrerade. Dessutom påverkas det sociala klimatet positivt. Tre respondenter nämner att vissa elever klagat över pulsträningen eftersom de anser den vara onödig och stressande.
Som utvecklingsförslag till hälsoprofilen nämndes att riktlinjerna till personalen kunde vara bättre. Dessutom anses ansvaret för äventyrsdagarna kunna fördelas på flera lärare. Det som i undersökningen nämndes som orsaker till att Gripsholmsskolan lyckats med sin hälsoprofil är föräldrarnas stöd, stöd av sakkunniga, samarbete inom personalen och att lyssna på eleverna.

The purpose of this Master ́s thesis was to describe what is included in the Gripsholms School’s health profile. Gripsholms School is a Swedish school that has chosen to emphasize health in different ways in the school environment. The origin and development of the health profile was investigated. The teachers' experiences of the health profile are also presented. Gripsholms School is a school that was founded in August 2009. The school is located in Mariefred, which is approximately 60 kilometers southwest of Stockholm. This research can conduce new ways of thinking when it comes to developing school health programs.
The research is of a qualitative nature and the research method used is semistructured theme interviews. The pilot study was conducted in January 2017. The interviews were conducted during the period January-March 2017. A total of five teachers with experience of the health profile participated in the research. On the basis of the interviews, main categories were created and from these, subcategories were created.
Through out the years, Gripsholmsskolan has developed physical, psychological and social exercises to improve health in the school. All respondents are certain that the health profile has a positive effect on the students and the school. The students are more balanced, the students learn about what is healthy and unhealthy, they may release some energy, they become mentally stronger and are more concentrated. In addition, the social atmosphere is in a positive way affected. Three respondents mention students complaining about heart rate training, because they consider it to be unnecessary and stressful.
As a suggestion for development of the health profile, it was mentioned that the guidelines for the staff could be better. In addition, the responsibility for the adventure days is recommended to be divided among several teachers. It was also mentioned in the research that the reasons for Gripsholms School's success with the health profile are the support of the parents, the support of experts, staff co-operation and listening to the students.
