Oikeudenmukaisuus Suomen ja Sambian välisessä verosopimuksessa

Suomen ja Sambian välinen verosopimus on solmittu vuonna 1978. Kuten kansainvälisessä yritysverotuksessa yleensä, myös tässä sopimuksessa pyritään noudattamaan lähdevaltioperiaatetta, jossa verotulot jakaantuvat arvon syntymisen mukaan. Sopimus kuitenkin ylittää kansainvälisiä standardeja Sambian eduksi, sillä se saa OECD:n verosopimusmallia laajemmat oikeudet verottaa passiivituloja ja YK:n verosopimusmallia edullisemman kiinteän toimipaikan määrittelyn. Sambian ja Suomen pitkäaikainen kehitysyhteistyökumppanuussuhde on saattanut vaikuttaa sopimuksen sisältöön.
