Excited states in 113Pd, populated in β− decay of 113Rh and in spontaneous fission of 248Cm and 252Cf, have
been studied by means of γ spectroscopy at the IGISOL facility of Jyvaskylä University and using large arrays
of Ge detectors (Eurogam2 and Gammasphere, respectively). The position of the 11/2− yrast excitation in 113Pd, proposed recently at 166.1 keV by other authors, has been corrected to 98.9 keV. The decay of this level
has been discussed to explain the observed transition intensities. The 7/2− member of the yrast, unique-parity
configuration has been identified at 84.9 keV and a band on top of this level proposed. On top of the 1/2+,
first excited state a band has been built and a new 3/2+ bandhead has been proposed at 151.9 keV. A possible
oblate-shape origin of these low-energy bandsheads has been discussed.

Carbon nanotube field-effect devices with asymmetric electrode configuration by contact geometry
Yotprayoonsak, Peerapong; Talukdar, Deep; Ahlskog, Markus (American Institute of Physics, 2014)We have studied experimentally the conductive properties of single walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) based field-effect type devices, with different contact geometries at the connecting electrode. The device designs are ... -
Collinear laser spectroscopy of stable palladium isotopes at the IGISOL facility
Geldhof, Sarina; Campbell, Paul; Cheal, Bradley; de Groote, Ruben; Gins, Wouter; Moore, Iain (Springer, 2020)Collinear laser spectroscopy on stable palladium isotopes was performed at the IGISOL facility in Jyväskylä in preparation for an experiment on its neutron-rich isotopes. Five transitions from different initial atomic ... -

(American Physical Society (APS), 2022)The impact of nuclear deformation can been seen in the systematics of nuclear charge radii, with radii generally expanding with increasing deformation. In this Letter, we present a detailed analysis of the precise relationship ... -
