Transition probabilities have been measured between the low-lying yrast states
in 175Au by employing the recoil distance Doppler-shift method combined with the selective
recoil-decay tagging technique. Reduced transition probabilities and magnitudes of transition
quadrupole moments have been extracted from measured lifetimes allowing dramatic changes
in nuclear structure within a low excitation-energy range to probed. The transition quadrupole
moment data are discussed in terms of available systematics as a function of atomic number
and aligned angular momentum.

(Elsevier, 2019)This letter reports lifetime measurements of excited states in the odd-N nucleus 163W using the recoil-distance Doppler shift method to probe the core polarising effect of the i13/2 neutron orbital on the underlying soft ... -
Towards an Experimental Determination of the Transition Strength Between the Ground States of 20F and 20Ne
Kirsebom, Oliver S.; Cederkäll, Joakim; Jenkins, David G.; Joshi, Pankaj; Julin, Rauno; Kankainen, Anu; Kibédi, Tibor; Tengblad, Olof; Trzaska, Wladyslaw (Physical Society of Japan, 2017)Electron capture on 20Ne is thought to play a crucial role in the final evolution of electron-degenerate ONe stellar cores. Recent calculations suggest that the capture process is dominated by the second-forbidden transition ... -
Muon-electron lepton-flavor-violating transitions : Shell-model calculations of transitions in 27Al
Kostensalo, Joel; Suhonen, Jouni; Civitarese, O. (American Physical Society, 2018)In this paper we present the results of large-scale shell-model calculations of muon-to-electron lepton-flavorviolating transitions for the case of the target nucleus 27Al. We extend the previous shell-model calculations, done ... -

(Elsevier, 2021)Excited states in the mirror nuclei 31P and 31S were populated in the 1p and 1n exit channels of the reaction 20Ne + 12C, at a beam energy of 33 MeV. The 20Ne beam was delivered for the first time by the Piave-Alpi accelerator ... -
