Code of the statistical analysis and datasets related to the manuscript "First evidence of sex-specific responses to chemical cues in tardigrade mate searching behaviour". The script that generates the statistical analysis (generalised linear models) of the two behavioural experiments realised in the manuscript "First evidence of sex-specific responses to chemical cues in tardigrade mate-searching behaviour", including the two datasets used for it. Attached README.txt file describes the two datasets and the variables in each of them.

First evidence of sex-specific responses to chemical cues in tardigrade mate searching behaviour
Chartrain, Justine; Knott, K. Emily; Michalczyk, Łukasz; Calhim, Sara (The Company of Biologists, 2023)Chemical cues are widely used in intra- and interspecific communication, either as substances deposited in the substrate or as molecules diffused in water or air. Tardigrades are an emerging microscopic study system in ... -
Conspecific density drives sex-specific spatial wintertime distribution and hoarding behaviour of an avian predator
Koivisto, Elina; Masoero, Giulia; Morosinotto, Chiara; Le Tortorec, Eric; Korpimäki, Erkki (BirdLife Finland, 2023)Useimmat tutkimukset lajinsisäisestä kilpailusta on tehty pesimäkaudella. Pohjoisilla leveysasteilla lajinsisäisen kilpailun kuitenkin odotetaan olevan erityisen voimakasta pesimäkauden ulkopuolella, kun sääolosuhteet ovat ... -
Short-term responses of Rana arvalis tadpoles to pH and predator stress : adaptive divergence in behavioural and physiological plasticity?
Scaramella, Nicholas; Mausbach, Jelena; Laurila, Anssi; Stednitz, Sarah; Räsänen, Katja (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2022)Environmental stress is a major driver of ecological and evolutionary processes in nature. To cope with stress, organisms can adjust through phenotypic plasticity and/or adapt through genetic change. Here, we compared ... -
Increasing intensity of deimatic behaviour in response to repeated simulated attacks : a case study on the mountain katydid (Acripeza reticulata)
Mourmourakis, Faelan; De Bona, Sebastiano; Umbers, Kate D. L. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2022)How and when deimatic behaviours are performed can change during encounters between predators and prey. Some predators attack repeatedly, investigating and manipulating prey, and in response, an individual’s deimatic ... -
Dog behaviour classification with movement sensors placed on the harness and the collar

The aim ...
