Most of the new products fail. What can be done prior to the development phase in the product development process to improve the chances of success? This bachelor’s thesis is done in the form of literary review and it aims to answer why is it important for software product companies to evaluate and validate initial product ideas and what kind of techniques and activities do software product companies use when evaluating and validating product ideas.
