Juoksijan kontaktiajan arviointi kiihtyvyysanturilla
Tässä tutkielmassa selvitettiin juoksijan kontaktiajan arviointia kenkään kiinnitettävän kiihtyvyysanturin datasta. Tutkielma noudatti suunnittelutieteellisen tutkimuksen paradigmaa. Arvioiminen suoritettiin luokitteluongelmana satunnaismetsäalgoritmilla. Luokittelija tunnisti kontaktihetket 88,2 % tarkkuudella. Kaikkiaan kontaktihetkistä 76,9 % luokiteltiin oikein. Estimoiminen sopivalla sovellutuksella on mahdollista. Tutkielma antaa suuntaviivat, joilla mallin kaltaista ratkaisua voi soveltaa käytännössä The research question of this thesis is estimating runner’s ground contact time from a shoe attached acceleration sensor. The research followed the Design Science Research paradigm. Estimating the contact time was performed as a classification problem with a Random Forest algorithm. The classification models were able to classify contact moments with the precision of 88,2 %. Of all the contact moments 76,9 % were classified correctly. Estimation is possible with a fitting application. The thesis guidelines how the classification model would be applicable and usable in practice.
