Introduction: Exploring the Growth of Food Charity across Europe

Abstract

An increasing body of country-specific research demonstrates that the need for emergency food assistance is growing throughout Europe, and that rising numbers of people are being forced to turn to charitable food aid to satisfy their basic need for food.
