An improved value for the lifetime of the (anti-)hypertriton has been obtained using the data sample of Pb–Pb collisions at sNN=5.02 TeV collected by the ALICE experiment at the LHC. The (anti-)hypertriton has been reconstructed via its charged two-body mesonic decay channel and the lifetime has been determined from an exponential fit to the dN/d(ct) spectrum. The measured value, τ=242−38 +34 (stat.) ± 17 (syst.) ps, is compatible with representative theoretical predictions, thus contributing to the solution of the longstanding hypertriton lifetime puzzle.

Measurement of ϕ-meson production in Cu+Au collisions at √sNN = 200 GeV and U+U collisions at √sNN = 193 GeV
PHENIX Collaboration (American Physical Society (APS), 2023)The PHENIX experiment reports systematic measurements at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider of ϕ-meson production in asymmetric Cu+Au collisions at √sNN=200GeV and in U+U collisions at √sNN=193GeV. Measurements were ... -
Measurement of nuclear effects on ψ(2S) production in p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 8.16 TeV
ALICE Collaboration (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020)Inclusive ψ(2S) production is measured in p-Pb collisions at the centre-ofmass energy per nucleon-nucleon pair √sNN = 8.16 TeV, using the ALICE detector at the CERN LHC. The production of ψ(2S) is studied at forward (2.03 ... -
Probing the chiral magnetic wave with charge-dependent flow measurements in Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC
The ALICE collaboration (Springer Nature, 2023)The Chiral Magnetic Wave (CMW) phenomenon is essential to provide insights into the strong interaction in QCD, the properties of the quark-gluon plasma, and the topological characteristics of the early universe, offering ... -
