Tieto- ja viestintätekniikan hyödyntäminen yhteisopettajuuden tukena

Abstract

Yhteisopettajuudessa opettajien työskentelyssä ja yhteisopettajuuden harjoittamisessa ilmenee usein haasteina suunnittelun ja arvioinnin aikatauluttaminen, tuen puute kouluhallinnolta, opettajien persoonallisuudet sekä tiedon puute yhteisopettajuudesta. Näihin haasteisiin on tarjolla jonkinlaisia ratkaisuja kirjallisuudessa, mutta nämä ratkaisut eivät usein huomioi tieto- ja viestintätekniikkaa. Tämä kirjallisuus katsaus tarkastelee miten tietoja viestintätekniikkaa voitaisiin hyödyntää ratkaisemaan yhteisopettajuudessa esille tulevia haasteita ja miten tieto- ja viestintätekniikka pystyy muuten tukemaan yhteisopettajuutta. Yhteisopettajuuden haasteisiin tieto- ja viestintätekniikka tarjoaa sovelluksia ja tekniikkaa millä helpoittaa aikataulutusta, kerätä tietoa, tehohostaa kommunikointia sekä tukea arviointia.

In co-teaching there are certain challenges that seem to arise in its practice and implementation more than others. These challenges are scheduling planning time and evaluation time, lack of support from school administration, personalities of the teachers and lack of knowledge about co-teaching. The literature offers some ideas for solving these problems, but these ideas rarely take in account what information and communication technology (ICT) has to offer. This review of literature goes through how ICT could be used in resolving these challenges and further in support of co-teaching. For the challenges of co-teaching ICT offers software, programs and technology to ease scheduling, to collect information, to enhance communication and to support evaluation.
