The ALICE Collaboration has measured the energy dependence of exclusive photoproduction of J/ψJ/ψ vector mesons off proton targets in ultra–peripheral p–Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair sNN−−−√=5.02sNN=5.02 TeV. The e++e−− and μ+μ−μ+μ− decay channels are used to measure the cross section as a function of the rapidity of the J/ψJ/ψ in the range −2.5<y<2.7−2.5<y<2.7, corresponding to an energy in the γγp centre-of-mass in the interval 40<Wγp<55040<Wγp<550 GeV. The measurements, which are consistent with a power law dependence of the exclusive J/ψ photoproduction cross section, are compared to previous results
from HERA and the LHC and to several theoretical models.
They are found to be compatible with previous measurements.

Energy dependence of coherent photonuclear production of J/ψ mesons in ultra-peripheral Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV
ALICE Collaboration (Springer, 2023)The cross section for coherent photonuclear production of J/ψ is presented as a function of the electromagnetic dissociation (EMD) of Pb. The measurement is performed with the ALICE detector in ultra-peripheral Pb-Pb ... -

Coherent J/ψ and ψ′ photoproduction at midrapidity in ultra-peripheral Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV
ALICE Collaboration (Springer, 2021)The coherent photoproduction of J/ψ and ψ′ mesons was measured in ultra-peripheral Pb–Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy √sNN = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector. Charmonia are detected in the central rapidity region ... -
Coherent J/ψ photoproduction at forward rapidity in ultra-peripheral Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV
ALICE Collaboration (Elsevier, 2019)The ALICE collaboration performed the first rapidity-differential measurement of coherent J/ψ photoproduction in ultra-peripheral Pb–Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy √sNN=5.02 TeV. The J/ψ is detected via its dimuon ... -
First measurement of coherent ρ0 photoproduction in ultra-peripheral Xe–Xe collisions at √sNN = 5.44 TeV
ALICE Collaboration (Elsevier BV, 2021)The first measurement of the coherent photoproduction of ρ0 vector mesons in ultra-peripheral Xe–Xe collisions at sNN=5.44 TeV is presented. This result, together with previous HERA γp data and γ–Pb measurements from ALICE, ...
