The magnitude of the Coulomb mixing parameter δ1
IM has been experimentally deduced, for the first time, for the β decay of
74Rb. The estimated magnitude is derived from the feeding of the non-analog first excited 0+ state in 74Kr. The inferred upper
limit of 0.07% is small compared to theoretical predictions. The half-life was measured to be 64.90(9) ms.

On the Effect of Analog Noise in Discrete-Time Analog Computations
Maass, Wolfgang; Orponen, Pekka (MIT Press, 1998)We introduce a model for analog computation with discrete time in the presence of analog noise that is flexible enough to cover the most important concrete cases, such as noisy analog neural nets and networks of spiking ... -
Shell-model calculation of isospin-symmetry breaking correction to superallowed Fermi beta decay
Xayavong, L.; Smirnova, N. A.; Bender, M.; Bennaceur, Karim (Jagiellonian University, 2017)We investigate the radial-overlap part of the isospin-symmetry breaking correction to superallowed 0 + → 0 + β decay. The 8 sd-shell emitters with masses between A = 22 and A = 38 have been re-examined. The Fermi ... -

(American Physical Society, 2018)We report the first observation of the Xe108→Te104→Sn100 α-decay chain. The α emitters, Xe108 [Eα=4.4(2) MeV, T1/2=58-23+106 μs] and Te104 [Eα=4.9(2) MeV, T1/2<18 ns], decaying into doubly magic Sn100 were produced using ...
