We have measured the angular distributions for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 4He from 11B in the isochronous cyclotron U-150 M INP RK. The extracted α-particles beam has been accelerated to energy 29 MeV and then directed to 11B target. The experimental results were analyzed within the framework of both the optical model using different complex potential and the double folding potential obtained with different density-dependent NN interactions which give the corresponding values of the nuclear incompressibility K in the Hartree-Fock calculation of nuclear matter.

The EPPS16 nuclear PDFs
Eskola, Kari; Paakkinen, Petja; Paukkunen, Hannu; Salgado, Carlos A. (Sissa, 2017)We report on EPPS16 - the first analysis of NLO nuclear PDFs where LHC p-Pb data (Z, W, dijets) have been directly used as a constraint. In comparison to our previous fit EPS09, also data from neutrino-nucleus deeply-inelastic ... -
Theoretical predictions of wimp-nucleus and neutrino-nucleus scattering in context of dark matter direct detection
Pirinen, Pekka (University of Jyväskylä, 2018)The nature of dark matter is at present an open question. Assuming the main component of dark matter consists of weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs), directly detecting such particle via a scattering process ... -
Factorization of the soft gluon divergence from the dipole picture deep inelastic scattering cross sections at next-to-leading order
Ducloue, B.; Hänninen, H.; Lappi, T.; Zhu, Y. (Sissa, 2019)We use a factorization scheme, analogous to the one proposed for single inclusive forward hadron production in hadronic collisions, to regularize the soft gluon divergence present in the deep inelastic scattering (DIS) ... -
Scattering off the color glass condensate
Mäntysaari, Heikki (University of Jyväskylä, 2015)In this thesis the Color Glass Condensate (CGC) framework, which describes quantum chromodynamics (QCD) at high energy, is applied to various scat- tering processes. Higher order corrections to the CGC evolution ... -
Small-x Physics in the Dipole Picture at NLO Accuracy
Iancu, Edmond; Lappi, Tuomas; Triantafyllopoulos, Dionysios (World Scientific, 2020)We review recent progress in NLO calculations for dilute-dense processes in the CGC picture. In particular, we focus here on recent steps in understanding high energy renormalization group evolution (BK/JIMWLK), the total ...
