We propose and study the inclusive production of a forward J/ψ and a very backward jet at
the LHC as an observable to reveal high-energy resummation effects à la BFKL. Our different
predictions are based on the various existing mechanisms to describe the production of the J/ψ,
namely, NRQCD singlet and octet contributions, and the color evaporation model.

Boussarie, R.; Ducloue, Bertrand; Szymanowski, L.; Wallon, S. (American Physical Society, 2018)In the spirit of Mueller-Navelet dijet production, we propose and study the inclusive production of a forward J / ψ and a very backward jet at the LHC as an observable to reveal high-energy resummation effects à la ... -
Production of a forward J/ψ and a backward jet at LHC
Boussarie, R.; Ducloue, Bertrand; Szymanowski, L.; Wallon, S. (Sissa, 2016)We study the production at the LHC of a forward J/ψ meson and a backward jet with a large rapidity separation using the BFKL formalism. We give predictions for both the Non Relativistic QCD (NRQCD) approach to charmonium ... -
High-energy resummation effects in the production of Mueller-Navelet dijets at the LHC
Ducloue, Bertrand; Szymanowski, L.; Wallon, S. (EDP Sciences, 2016)We study the production of two forward jets with a large interval of rapidity at hadron colliders, which was proposed by Mueller and Navelet as a possible test of the high energy dynamics of QCD, within a complete ... -
Inclusive J/ψ production at forward and backward rapidity in p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 8.16 TeV
ALICE Collaboration (Springer, 2018)Inclusive J/ψ production is studied in p-Pb interactions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon collision √sNN=8.16 TeV, using the ALICE detector at the CERN LHC. The J/ψ meson is reconstructed, via its decay ... -
Use of a running coupling in the NLO calculation of forward hadron production
Ducloue, Bertrand; Iancu, E.; Lappi, Tuomas; Mueller, A. H.; Soyez, G.; Triantafyllopoulos, D. N.; Zhu, Yan (American Physical Society, 2018)We address and solve a puzzle raised by a recent calculation [1] of the cross section for particle production in proton-nucleus collisions to next-to-leading order: the numerical results show an unreasonably large dependence ...
