A checklist of Finnish aphyllophoroid fungi was published in 2009. After that plenty of knowledge has been accumulated. Here we present all new information including three species new to Finland as well as species new to one or several boreal zone sections in Finland. Amyloathelia amylacea, Tubulicium vermiferum, and Tulasnella danica are reported as new to Finland, together with records of some species that are very rare in the whole of Finland, such as Athelia cystidi- olophora, Brevicellicium exile, Chaetoporellus curvisporus, Melzericium udicola, Phlebia lindtneri, and Postia mappa. In total, 67 aphyllophoroid fungi are listed as new to some sections of the boreal or hemiboreal vegetation zone in Finland; new records have been made in altogether eight sections out of eleven. We accumulated here all records which were not included in the Finnish checklist, including those that have already been published somewhere else. Thus this paper can be used as a supplement to the checklist.

Ectomycorrhizal fungi in wood-pastures : Communities are determined by trees and soil properties, not by grazing
Tervonen, Kaisa; Oldén, Anna; Halme, Panu (Elsevier BV, 2019)Traditional rural biotopes such as wood-pastures are species-rich environments that have been created by low-intensity agriculture. Their amount has decreased dramatically during the 20th century in whole Europe due to the ... -
Habitat associations drive species vulnerability to climate change in boreal forests
Mazziotta, Adriano; Triviño, María; Tikkanen, Olli-Pekka; Kouki, Jari; Strandman, Harri; Mönkkönen, Mikko (Springer Netherlands, 2016)Species climate change vulnerability, their predisposition to be adversely affected, has been assessed for a limited portion of biodiversity. Our knowledge of climate change impacts is often based only on exposure, the ... -
Resource use of wood-inhabiting fungi in different boreal forest types
Juutilainen, Katja; Mönkkönen, Mikko; Kotiranta, Heikki; Halme, Panu (Elsevier, 2017)Generalist species are usually widespread and abundant, and thrive in heterogeneous environments. Specialists, in turn, are generally more restricted in their range, and benefit from more stable conditions. Therefore, ... -
