Biodiversity, future consciousness and leadership Survey 2023

Database consists of 800 answers from consumers on their values, future consciousness, leadership attitudes, nature conservation and citizenship attitudes, and actual behaviour measured by a carbon footprint scale. The data was collected in February 2023 using online web panel. Invitations were sent to 18–75-year-olds in continental Finland. • Sample size: 800 • Response rate: 29% • Margin of error is 3.5% The panel data collection had quotas set to match the demographics by gender, age groups and region. The web panelists are volunteers, who choose to respond to surveys according to their likes and interests. The panelists are also awarded prizes and compensation for their time and effort. The contents of the questionnaire were not made mandatory – i.e., respondents could leave questions unanswered if they wanted to. After the data collection, responses that had more than 10% of missing values were removed. In addition, speeders (respondents answering the questionnaire unrealistically quickly) were removed.
