Acute effects of isometric plantarflexion exercise on Achilles tendon non-uniform displacement
Abstract
The non-uniformity is a function of a healthy tendon and has been seen decreased among injured
and aging populations. The purpose of this study was to detect acute changes in Achilles tendon
(AT) non-uniformity in response to isometric plantarflexion exercise. The reliability of the
method was also examined.
