Excitation functions for 18 O + α elastic scattering were measured by a method using inverse kinematics and a thick gas target. An analysis of the data corresponding to the excitation energy regions of 11.8–13.7 MeV and 19.0–22.0 MeV in 22 Ne was carried out. A surprising splitting of 1 − , 3 − , 7 − , and 9 − α -cluster levels into doublets was found in 22 Ne .

(Institute of Physics Publishing Ltd., 2019)Angular distributions of protons, deuterons, tritons and alphaparticles emitted in the d + 9Be reaction at Elab=19.5 and 35.0 MeV have been measured. The elastic scattering channel is analysed in the framework of both the ...
Poretskii, Aleksandr (University of Jyväskylä, 2015)We investigate an electromagnetic waveguide, having several cylindrical ends. The waveguide is assumed to be empty and to have a perfectly conductive boundary. We study the electromagnetic field, excited in the waveguide ...

Helenius, Ilkka; Paukkunen, Hannu (Elsevier BV, 2020)We consider the simultaneous production of two heavy-flavoured hadrons – particularly D mesons – at the LHC. We base our calculations on collinearly factorized QCD at next-to-leading order, using the contemporary parton ...
Rakesh; Salo, Mikko (Society for Industrial & Applied Mathematics (SIAM), 2020)We consider the fixed angle inverse scattering problem and show that a compactly supported potential is uniquely determined by its scattering amplitude for two opposite fixed angles. We also show that almost symmetric or ...
