We consider here a general nerwork composed by n‐distributed parameters lines (with telegraph‐equations models) and m‐capacitors, all connected by a resistive multiport. An asymptotic stability property drives us to define and evaluate a global parameter (“λ‐delay time”) which describes the speed of signals propagation through the network. Because of its simplicity of calculation and its tightness, the given upper bound of the λ‐delay time is useful in timing analysis of MOS integrated chips.

Applicability of pion–nucleus Drell–Yan data in global analysis of nuclear parton distribution functions
Paakkinen, Petja; Eskola, Kari; Paukkunen, Hannu (Elsevier B.V., 2017)Despite the success of modern nuclear parton distribution functions (nPDFs) in describing nuclear hard-process data, they still suffer from large uncertainties. One of the poorly constrained features is the possible asymmetry ... -
The Finnish Reproducibility Network (FIRN) : A national bottom-up approach to scientific integrity in a global context
Voikar, Vootele; Casarotto, Plinio; Glerean, Enrico; Laakso, Kati; Saurio, Kaisa; Karhulahti, Veli-Matti; Scherer, Andreas (JOTE Publishers, 2023)Across sciences the lack of reproducibility has raised concerns that shake disciplinary foundations. In this article, the need for institutional solutions as one possible antidote to reproducibility issues is suggested, ... -
A theory of electrical circuits with resistively coupled distributed systems
Marinov, Corneliu A.; Neittaanmäki, Pekka (IEEE, 1988)Qualitative properties (existence, uniqueness, and especially, stability) and numerical solution of a circuit consisting of a resistive multiport with r-c-g exactly modeled distributed elements connected to its terminals, ... -
A Theory of electrical circuits with resistively coupled distributed structures : Delay time predicting
Marinov, Corneliu A.; Neittaanmäki, Pekka (IEEE, 1988)This paper deals with qualitative properties ( existence, uniqueness, and especially, stability) and numerical solution of a circuit consisting of a resistive multiport with r-c-g "exactly modeled" distributed elements ... -
