The production of the charm-strange baryon is measured for the first time at the LHC via its semileptonic decay into e in pp collisions at TeV with the ALICE detector. The transverse momentum () differential cross section multiplied by the branching ratio is presented in the interval at mid-rapidity, . The transverse momentum dependence of the baryon production relative to the meson production is compared to predictions of event generators with various tunes of the hadronisation mechanism, which are found to underestimate the measured cross-section ratio.

Measurement of inclusive charged-particle b-jet production in pp and p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV ALICE collaboration (Springer, 2022)A measurement of the inclusive b-jet production cross section is presented in pp and p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV, using data collected with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The jets were reconstructed in the central ...
Insight into particle production mechanisms via angular correlations of identified particles in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV ALICE Collaboration (Springer, 2017)Two-particle angular correlations were measured in pp collisions at s√=7 TeV for pions, kaons, protons, and lambdas, for all particle/anti-particle combinations in the pair. Data for mesons exhibit an expected peak dominated ...
Measurement of azimuthal correlations of D mesons with charged particles in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV and p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV ALICE Collaboration (Springer Berlin Heidelberg, 2017)The azimuthal correlations of D mesons with charged particles were measured with the ALICE apparatus in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV and p–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider. D0, D+, and D∗+ ...
Measurement of charm and beauty production at central rapidity versus charged-particle multiplicity in proton-proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV ALICE Collaboration (Springer Berlin Heidelberg, 2015)Prompt D meson and non-prompt J/ψ yields are studied as a function of the multiplicity of charged particles produced in inelastic proton-proton collisions at a centreof-mass energy of √ s = 7 TeV. The results are reported ...
