The production of the charm-strange baryon is measured for the first time at the LHC via its semileptonic decay into e in pp collisions at TeV with the ALICE detector. The transverse momentum () differential cross section multiplied by the branching ratio is presented in the interval at mid-rapidity, . The transverse momentum dependence of the baryon production relative to the meson production is compared to predictions of event generators with various tunes of the hadronisation mechanism, which are found to underestimate the measured cross-section ratio.

Measurement of Z0-boson production at large rapidities in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV ALICE Collaboration (Elsevier B.V., 2018)The production of bosons at large rapidities in Pb–Pb collisions at is reported. candidates are reconstructed in the dimuon decay channel (), based on muons selected with pseudo-rapidity and . The invariant yield and ...
Dielectron production in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV ALICE Collaboration (American Physical Society, 2020)The first measurements of dielectron production at midrapidity (|ηe| < 0.8) in proton–proton and proton–lead collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV at the LHC are presented. The dielectron cross section is measured with the ALICE ...
First measurement of jet mass in Pb–Pb and p–Pb collisions at the LHC ALICE Collaboration (Elsevier B.V., 2018)This letter presents the first measurement of jet mass in Pb–Pb and p–Pb collisions at sNN=2.76 TeV and sNN=5.02 TeV, respectively. Both the jet energy and the jet mass are expected to be sensitive to jet quenching in the ...
Measurement of the inclusive isolated photon production cross section in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV ALICE Collaboration (Springer, 2019)The production cross section of inclusive isolated photons has been measured by the ALICE experiment at the CERN LHC in pp collisions at a centre-of-momentum energy of s√=s= 7 TeV. The measurement is performed with the ...
Z-boson production in p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 8.16 TeV and Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV ALICE collaboration (Springer, 2020)Measurement of Z-boson production in p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 8.16 TeV and Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV is reported. It is performed in the dimuon decay channel, through the detection of muons with pseudorapidity ...
