Digitalisaation vaikutukset johtamiseen
Abstract
Tämän kandidaatintutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää kirjallisuuskatsauksen
avulla mitä vaikutuksia digitalisaatiolla on johtamiseen. Tutkielmassa määritellään
mitä digitalisaatio sekä johtaminen ovat nykypäivänä. Digitalisaation vaikutuksia
johtamiseen tarkastellaan kolmen johtamistyypin kautta. Kirjallisuuskatsauksen
avulla selviää, että digitalisaatio vaikuttaa johtamiseen eri tavoin
riippuen sen kohteena olevasta johtamistyypistä. Se muuttaa tapojamme tehdä
töitä ja heijastuu siten myös työn johtamiseen ja organisointiin. Digitalisaatio
vaikuttaa johtamiseen tuoden sille mahdollisuuksia ja haasteita. Johtaminen ei
menetä merkitystään digitalisaation vaikutuksesta, vaan muuttuu sen mukana.
Johtaminen tulee lähemmäksi teknologiaa, hyödyntää sen mahdollisuuksia ja
vastaa sen asettamiin haasteisiin.
This bachelor’s thesis has been conducted as a literature review and its aim is to examine what impacts does digitalization have on leadership. Today’s definitions of digitalization and leadership are defined in this thesis. The impacts of digitalization on leadership are examined using three different leadership types. By conducting this literature review it can be seen that digitalization has different impacts on leadership depending on the type of leadership. Digitalization changes the way we work and at the same time it changes how we lead and organize work. The impacts of digitalization on leadership can be both possibilities and challenges. Leadership does not lose its meaning in the era of digitalization, but changes with it. Leadership comes closer to technology and takes advantage on its possibilities as well as counters its challenges.
