In this article we prove Lp estimates for resolvents of Laplace–Beltrami operators on compact Riemannian manifolds, generalizing results of Kenig, Ruiz and Sogge (1987) in the Euclidean case and Shen (2001) for the torus. We follow Sogge (1988) and construct Hadamard's parametrix, then use classical boundedness results on integral operators with oscillatory kernels related to the Carleson and Sjölin condition. Our initial motivation was to obtain Lp Carleman estimates with limiting Carleman weights generalizing those of Jerison and Kenig (1985); we illustrate the pertinence of Lp resolvent estimates by showing the relation with Carleman estimates. Such estimates are useful in the construction of complex geometrical optics solutions to the Schrödinger equation with unbounded potentials, an essential device for solving anisotropic inverse problems.

Integrative taxonomy resolves species identities within the Macrobiotus pallarii complex (Eutardigrada: Macrobiotidae)
Stec, Daniel; Vecchi, Matteo; Dudziak, Magdalena; Bartels, Paul J.; Calhim, Sara; Michalczyk, Łukasz (Biomed Central, 2021)The taxonomy of many groups of meiofauna is challenging due to their low number of diagnostic morphological characters and their small body size. Therefore, with the advent of molecular techniques that provide a new source ... -
Resolving the systematics of Richtersiidae by multilocus phylogeny and an integrative redescription of the nominal species for the genus Crenubiotus (Tardigrada)
Stec, Daniel; Vecchi, Matteo; Maciejowski, Wojciech; Michalczyk, Łukasz (Nature Publishing Group, 2020)The family Richtersiidae, although established recently with the use of phylogenetic methods, was considered potentially paraphyletic at the time of its erection. Until now, the family comprised four genera, Richtersius, ... -
Exploring Oscillatory Dysconnectivity Networks in Major Depression during Resting State Using Coupled Tensor Decomposition
Liu, Wenya; Wang, Xiulin; Hämäläinen, Timo; Cong, Fengyu (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2022)Dysconnectivity of large-scale brain networks has been linked to major depression disorder (MDD) during resting state. Recent researches show that the temporal evolution of brain networks regulated by oscillations reveals ... -
Oscillatory Dynamics Underlying Perceptual Narrowing of Native Phoneme Mapping from 6 to 12 Months of Age
Ortiz-Mantilla, Silvia; Hämäläinen, Jarmo; Realpe-Bonilla, Teresa; Benasich, April A. (Society for Neuroscience, 2016)During the first months of life, human infants process phonemic elements from all languages similarly. However, by 12 months of age, as language-specific phonemic maps are established, infants respond preferentially to ... -
